building pandiono (1992-1996)
Pandiono is a fast 40ft sea going trimaran designed by Tony Granger and build at the RMY boat yard in Amsterdam. It took 4500 hours to complete the job of which RMY took 1500 hours
spring 1992, de designs of the TR40 arrive. Trijnie, a martime design engineer thinks: is this the cross section of the whole boat ??
within this frames the main hull of TR40 will be build
this cross section setup of the mainhull looks more real. (Simon Rhebergen of Rhebergen Multihull Yachts)
the hull showes it shape, beautiful !!
look at the thin connections with the floats and the heavy pack of glass at the hull. That is counter intuitive.

the outer frames are removed. the hull will be turned over to apply glass at the outside
the main hull is coated with epoxy/filler plaster. The fairing and sanding can begin

designer tony grainger and trijnie. this TR40 is the first design build in foam/epoxy and he is impressed by the stiffess of the construction
